Calgary Minor hockey has advised all associations effective for the 2010/2011 season, it is mandadory for parents to have taken the online respect in sport course before your child will be able to play. Committed to creating a positive hockey experience for all, Hockey Calgary is pleased to provide this convenient and free online course for hockey parents.
This 1 hour online program is designed to reinforce a parents role in a child’s activities, encouraging positive sport behaviours, and empowers parents to ensure the safety of their children, encourage positive and effective communication, and to enhance a child's fun and camaraderie of the activity.
To demonstrate how certain we are of the positive impact this program will have on our game, and to encourage as many parents as possible to take the time to complete the online program, Hockey Calgary is offering two incentive programs to keep the momentum going:
